Ideas, tested against the sky.

An idea earns trust when its status, contributors, and limits are clear. Here are the papers I can share publicly today, each with its sources.

What is the idea?

Objects left in orbit can create risks for future space activity. Space Debris Credits explores how a voluntary credit framework could reward actions that reduce debris-related harm. The proposal examines incentives and governance; it is not an existing regulatory mandate.

The paper illustrated its main claims with synthetic data. A follow-up working paper tests them on 18,036 real objects in low Earth orbit: among derelicts, 50 objects hold 46% of the risk measure, and removing the ten highest gives about 80 times the reduction of removing ten at random.

Compost Energy

A four-chamber home composter that captures microbial heat and returns enriched fertiliser to the soil. The numbers did not add up for homes, so the design moved to farm scale. Drawings, a simulation and an explainer video.
